MAKING BENCHMARK PINOT NOIR REQUIRES PAITIENCE, EXCELLENT FRUIT sourcing, and a delicate, hands-off approach throughout all stages of winecraft. Our goal is to take as little away from the fruit as possible, while ensuring its full flavor potential is realized. This is a balancing act, but we truly believe that fine Pinot Noir should be made in a natural and expressive style and never over manipulated. Grapes for our wines are expertly grown, handpicked and hand sorted at harvest before being allowed to ferment with native yeasts. Our minimalist approach guides all of our winemaking decisions and when it comes time to barrel our Pinot Noir our approach is always conservative.
